Hey nerds!
This is our first rendition of our monthly community "changelog" type dealio blog thingy! I decided I wanted a dedicated space for monthly announcements, recaps, reminders, etc... and for those who would like to keep up with everything going on in the community (or you just love to hear me yap), this is the place!
So without further ado, lets get into it...
New Way to Pick Your roles!
You can now choose your Discord Roles by heading to the "Channel & Roles" tab above the server list! This is a much cleaner and simpler way of picking roles, and it prompts new server members to choose their roles upon joining, rather than them finding their way to it on their own, which is pretty neat!
Rules and Verification Overhaul!
While on the Discord topic, we recently added an extra step to keeping the Discord safe, new members must react to the rules with the little CoolClubBot reaction in order to view most of the channels
I also (again) combined the rules and server info into one, organized info channel :)
The new home of our Monthly Stream Schedule!
You may be wondering, "where tf is this guy's schedule that he never follows anyway?" Well, I decided to move it here, along with a few other things! Since I end up announcing times or cancelling streams in Discord anyway, I think it's best to keep da schedule as part of our blog. Maybe people will actually come here for it too Copium.
As always, please remember that no dates and times are set in stone, as my irl schedule is as chaotic as ever between school, sports, and other grass-touching endeavors. All times are in Eastern (ET). Here is the tentative schedule for the rest of January:
Saturday, January 18th - 8:00 PM ET
Sunday, January 19th - 8:00 PM ET
Monday, January 20th - 11:30 PM ET
Friday, January 25th - 8:00 PM ET
Sunday, January 27th - 11:30 AM ET
Friday, January 31st - 8:00 PM ET
The Daily Totem Stays...
Due to the overwhelming feedback and messages regarding the Daily Totem, I've decided to keep it... Gladge
It will continue on as simply a counting game for those who wish to redeem them! They [currently] no longer have a purpose other than to incentivize people to collect them daily. To those who proposed new ideas or alternative uses for them, thank you :)

In the near future I will add a new Discord role to select, for those who would like to be pinged when a new monthly blog like this is released! Since I'm about half a month late, just wanted to let you guys know that I plan on doing these around the first week of every month, so expect another one pretty soon lol. I will also try to link the previous month's blog with every new one :D
